Q: Injection molding process of BMC injection molding machine
A: Temperature: barrel temperature and mold temperature
During injection molding processing, BMC is required to maintain a low viscosity flow state for a long time under the barrel temperature; generally, the barrel temperature should be able to meet the lower limit of BMC. The temperature of the barrel is generally divided into two or three stages of control. The temperature near the hopper is lower and the temperature near the nozzle is higher. Generally the difference is 20-60 degrees, and the mold temperature is generally controlled at 135~185 degrees.
Q: What is the injection pressure of BMC injection molding machine?
A: Since BMC has poor fluidity, fast solidification, and complex mold structure, the injection pressure should be higher, generally 80~16OMPa.
Q: What is the difference between thermoplastic and injection molding?
A: In thermoset injection molding, cold material is injected into an extremely hot mold to create a part. This process cures the part so it can never be melted again. In thermoplastic injection molding, plastic material is melted and injected into a mold to create a part.
